If you have a doctor's order, you can also upload it directly to your account.

Select between visiting a lab location near you or using an at-home testing kit for applicable tests. For lab visits, you can find the nearest location and schedule an appointment directly through our platform.

Note: Some specialized tests may only be available at select laboratory locations or might require in-person collection.

Visit your selected lab location at your scheduled time, or follow the instructions provided with your at-home test kit. For lab visits, simply show your digital lab order from your AmberCheck account—no paperwork needed.

How quickly will I receive my test results?

  • At-home test kits: Generally take 5-7 days from when your sample is received by the lab.

Once your results are ready, they'll automatically sync with your AmberCheck account, and you'll receive a notification. You can view your results, along with personalized insights and recommendations, directly in your dashboard.

How do I prepare for my lab test?

Preparation requirements depend on the specific tests you're having done. When you schedule your test, we'll provide detailed preparation instructions specific to your test panel. Common preparations include:

  • Fasting: Many metabolic and lipid tests require fasting for 8-12 hours before your test. Water is usually permitted.
  • Medication timing: Some tests may require adjusting when you take certain medications.
  • Hydration: Drinking plenty of water (unless otherwise instructed) can make the blood draw process easier.
